From London to Le Mans in a BMW M3 E46

We went to Le Mans in 2007.
I flew to London from Denmark and meet up with a friend in London. We drove in his BMW M3 all the way from London to Le Mans in France. It was a great trip.One of the nicest BMW's of my opinion.
I might want to get one of them.... If it had been affordable in Denmark.. Forget about it!
How do we pass from England to France... we know that there is a tunnel. Are we going to drive through it, I thought we where. But no. See how it happens.
A train is passing over from England to France.

The cars simply drive into the train.
The train has two levels where car can park on both lower and upper level.
After about a half an hour we reach Franch.
Easy and comfortable enough :-)
On the drive through France we met a lot of nice cars, which was like us, driving from GB to France.
What a Nice red Ferrari 550 Marnello.
Wooow! An Ultima GTR.. I have got one of them in my garage in my XBOX 360 Project Gotham Racing game, but I had never seen one in real world.
DAMN, what a car. It is soooo big.
I love the T1. I would love to have one of them. Great for small nature tours with family and friends.
Yes, thats true. It is a street car. But not really practical I heard ;-) But I would love to spend a day in that car... Could be so much fun.
This is an Aston Martin Zagato. I was told that this is a really rarely seen car. There might even only be a few of them in world.

No doubt a beautifull car.

Le Mans 2007 - Campsite

Our Camp in Le Mans. In the center of the race track. The four blue small tents and the big one, are ours. Pretty good that we arived in time, because camp site became more and more packed at the time.
Not easy to keep the car clean in that area ;-)

Our nabo had his car located INSIDE their tent... Turned out to be a brilliant idea, because it's a convertible, and it was raining like h... most of the time.
But fortunately sun was shining some times as well, and the car was out to be streatched.
Crazy cars was parked around the camp-site. Nothing like a danish camp site. Nothing like at all!

Le Mans 2007 - Racing about to start

Race was about to start...
Cars are being pushed out to the start position

And the Girls are not to be forgotten....
Unfortunately I ran out of batteries at this moment. And for some reason I had not any extra batteries with me :-( However I did take photos and filming with my Nokia 6280 which is one of the greatest mobile phones when it comes to creating small movies. Unfortunately that was stolen from me during the Le Mans weekend.
